Playing badminton is always my favourite.
I love badminton and it is the only sport that I can play well compared to other sports.
Last 2 days while I was in Swinburne, playing for IPBL, every moment that I spent inside that court was a new experience for me.
The playing techniques, the people, the facilities, the food, the Red Bull drink.....all are new for me...just like sakai loo
the players that represented their college were playing their best.
So did us.
Chai Kian Xin, Beatrice, Albert Chew, Eileen Lu, Joseph(ah hong), Florence and Raymond Lee were the representatives for our college. And I am proud to be one of the representatives. I am so proud of myself....
The great thing was we registered for that match without the college permission. So not so troublesome...we went to Swinburne by Chai's and Beatrice's car....we were so lucky to have both of them(because we had a free ride to Swinburne)
Although we only won 1 match out of 4 matches, I am so glad that I had this experience to play....to actually be in a competition(women's double and mixed double)
Playing for the college makes me wants to improve my badminton skill so that i can represent college to play for the college....
Just like what Adrian did...
and just like my dad would like me to do...
I know I will have the chance as long as I am being trained and playing with
the "badminton pro"s
Actually, from this competition, I learned that giving one's best shot needs a motivation or maybe more than one motivation. if not, we will not bother about winning the match. There were a lot of participants who can play very well....(for me, they are already professional)...
therefore, that makes me feel "I sucked! I am still very untrained!" and " I need PRACTICE"
Playing badminton for the college and winning the match are now one of my dreams.
I will make sure I will fulfill these dreams before I graduate....
