2010 was awesome….would 2011 be fantastic??

2010 was over. New chapter beginnings. And new roller coaster to ride on. I believe most of us are very excited to make the countdown and embrace the year 2011. I am so looking forward to the “excitements” that will come to me. But at the same time, a new year is just a new year. New challenges too… well, bring it on…

Let me recall what was happening in 2010……

SPM was over. No point staying home and doing nothing. So I looked for a job. It was fun working with new people who is nice. I never thought I would work as a Wacoal promoter. At first, it was quite difficult to store the “knowledge” of the innerwear in my little brain. It was a new knowledge for me. But as time passed, I got used to it and managed to remember those “knowledge”. Furthermore, my friends who worked with me were extremely easy going person. So, it was really fortunate to work with them. No stress at all. We laughed together about silly things, we shopped together, we hung out together, and we ate together. I miss those moments. We shared our stories and “kepo” here and there. It was really fun. For me, no matter what job you are doing, as long as the people that you are working with are nice and the environment of course, you actually enjoying your job.

One of the most memorable moments was my first step entering Batu Lintang campus. During the first day, it was hectic. Registration stuff was so annoying. Everyone was busy on their own things. Same goes to me. Plus, there was no one I know. Luckily, I saw Emmee. The one and only familiar faces that I had seen. That day was still fresh in my mind because it was tense. Then, I went to the hostel to “check in”. Again, there were crowd everywhere. I grabbed the opportunity to make new friends.

Honestly, staying in the hostel wasn’t that bad. Yet, I need to consider others because we live together such as, can’t turn on full volume while listening to the music, can’t be too open while changing clothes, limit space to do homeworks and to put my stuffs. As time passed, I got used to it and it didn’t matter.

There are of course pros and cons. I like to stay in hostel because it is more fun to stay with friends because we can share a lot of things together. Plus, we just need to walk to campus and doesn’t need any transportation to get us to class. The thing that I hate the most while staying in the campus is, we have to put the “buku keluar” in the guard’s booth before going out. Moreover, we need to be back to campus by 10.30pm. If not, I also don’t know what the consequences are. But I am sure I will be screwed. Still, it really pissed me off because we are actually not that free to hang out at night. At least before 11pm. But never mind.

In 2010 also, I had actually exercise a lot. Before this, I seldom went to go exercise. However, since entering this institute, I think I jogged a lot and play badminton a lot. I actually can feel my body getting tough. Hehehe…. Soon, it will be tougher because I will be forced to jog by my lecturer. I am looking forward to it.

It is early New Year morning and I am writing my blog because of the delay flight to Kuching. Thanks to my laptop for it occupied my waiting slot. 2 hours of waiting really upset me. Never mind baa….Once in the blue moon I guess.

Well, 2011…..I am sure there will be a new schedule, new adventure, new stress, new excitement….. bring it on….:D
